  • MG racers and fellow MG campers will be let into track for “MG Central“ set up inthe

inside of turn 14area

  •  This will be an afternoon process for admittance into thetrack.

  • MG Central – Happy Hour & After Hours Socializing and networking with all MG racers, friends and making new friendships.

Tuesday, July 16

  • During the morning we will be having an “MG Learn How to Race Road AmericaSchool”at MG Central, conducted by Kent Prather, beverages and snacks provided

  • Afternoon will bring our MG only on track time, practicing the skills from Kent’s morning class and a great opportunity for all classes of MG’s to learn this historic track together.

  • MG Central – Welcome “Vintage MG Races” gathering and after hour racetrack conversations.

Wednesday, July 17

  • Testing is open for all cars for the Hawk event. MG racers can participate in this day too, for extrafee

  • Road America will set up some picturesque street car drives around the Kettle Moran area for all attending MGpeople.

  • MG Central – After hours conversation for all MG cars and fans.

 Thursday, July 18

  • Brian Redman International Challenge begins with practice for all class of racecars thru out the day. MG’s will be practicing in their race class.

  • Evening will be at the must attend Racers/Crew Welcome Party sponsored by the track at the Road AmericaCenter

  • Also the ability to bring any of the original Road America Historic Street Race Track MG race cars to Siebkens for the Road America Historic Assoc. dinner meeting and get together.

  • MG Central - After hours festivities for all MG racers, friends and fans

Friday, July 19

  • Full event day of practice and qualifying for all classes of racecars

  • Late day line up for Classic Race Car drive to Elk Hart Lake, MG’s might be in our own tour to town and planning to be able to park all MG race cars on the lawn at the Osthoff Resort lakeside.

  • MG Central – Gather of the MGer’s for networking and after hour friendships building

Saturday, July 20

  • Full day of qualifying and sprint races for all classes.

  •  We will have at least one days “Vintage MG Racers” MG only race. With the possibility of a race both weekend days. Depends on event schedule yet to be finalized.

  • Saturday late afternoon gathering for the 2019 “Vintage MG Racers” annual get together and banquet. This year it will held on the grounds of Road America. If weather permits we will have happy hour on the top of the Media center with cash bar. Some pre-dinner light hors d’oeuvre are also being looked into. Banquet dinner will be on the track side terraces of the Media Center, with a night cap and light desert back on the roof of the Media center. If the weather will not cooperate, we will move this evenings events into the Road America Center for the banquet andentertainment.

  •  Our entertainment for the evening will be round a table discussing/talking event about past MG racing experiences, any crazy race stories about yourself or others, any interesting street car stores or just fantastic stories about some of your fellow round table famous racers. Our list for the table contributors are planning to be Brian Redman, David Hobbs, Kent Prather, Dorsey Schrader and hopefully Lynn St. James, along with the possibility of more as we see fit. This will be an hour or so open forum event for a fun and interesting time with many laughs during it. FYI – If we are in the Road America Center, we will have full PAability.

  • After the this story telling we will have the “Vintage MG Racers” annual awards presentation for the awards to special MG racers each year.

  • MG Central – After hours’ time to continue the round table store telling opportunities.

Sunday, July 21

  • Final day of the 2019 event and full race schedule all day for all classes of cars.

  • We might have another MG only race if timing works out fo rit.

  •  Pack up and share stories from this fanatic MG/Road America event.
